YOGAMOVES is in a small town on the west of Ireland called Gort. It lies between Galway, Clare and Limerick and is close to Shannon airport for international students. One of the wonderful things about Gort is that is lies at the edge of the Burren, one of the most incredible places on the planet, famous for its flowers and fauna. Gort also has some great restaurants and cafes, our favourite being the Gallery Cafe across the road in the square. Accommodation options tend to be cheaper here than in the surrounding bigger cities and we get away with free parking.
For people travelling, there are a few accommodation options.
O Sullivan’s Hotel is just cross the road form the studio in the main square in Gort
The Lady Gregory this is a very traditional Irish hotel. Offering 87 ensuite comfortable bedrooms. There is a very nice restaurant and also a Spa & Pool. Room rate varies depending on the time of year and length of stay.
Woodley Bnb– a cheap and cheerful up the road, prices as low as €25 per night.
There is also Air BnB options in or close to the town. Air BnB offer private rooms in homes or entire houses that could be shared. We can help group people together for Air BnB. Just let us know you are interested in this option and we can help advise.
