Turn your world upside down and journey into the heart
10 a.m.- 12.30 p.m

Pincha cropped large 2

This workshop will literally turn your world upside down in an exploration of Sirsasana (Headstand) and Adho Mukha Vrkasana (Handstand).  As this is a mixed level workshop, variations will be given to keep things interesting for all. Then we will unlock the front body myo-fascia to prepare for a series of backbends, building up to and exploring the biomechanics of wheel for those who find the pose difficult and giving alternative options for those who want something a bit more challenging. In this process, we explore one of the questions of Patanjanli’s Yoga Sutras, Is love, bliss and joy really our true nature ? If we use our backbends to unravel through the everyday tensions that accumulate in our body, will we find this treasure of inherent bliss residing underneath ?

Pre-requisites : A bit of a practice and a desire to see the world topsy turvy and through the lens of the heart.

Price- £35  or 60 for both.

Please note, anyone coming for the day can enjoy the pool at lunchtime, so bring your swimming gear !
