50 hr Yin Yoga Training Spain

june 27th - July 4th 2026

Blending Yin Yoga with somatic Theory for Embodied Teaching and Personal Transformation

Join us for a 50 hr Yin Yoga Training at the stunning Suryalila Retreat Centre in southern Spain — a deeply nourishing immersion into the art of stillness, subtle energy, and embodied awareness. This transformative training weaves together traditional Yin Yoga with functional anatomy, fascial theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and nervous system science, exploring how emotional tension and survival responses — fight, flight, freeze, and flop — shape our postural and energetic patterns. You’ll gain tools to deepen your own practice and guide others with sensitivity, clarity, and confidence. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers, Andalucían sunshine, and the sacred space of Suryalila’s Geodesic Dome Yoga Shala, this training is more than a certification — it’s a journey into inner quiet and embodied presence

The best option to reach Suryalila Retreat Centre is to fly into either Seville, Jerez or Malaga airport.  From there, you can book a transfer with Suryalila’s partner company, SierraVivaViajes, or arrange your own transportation.

Here’s a more detailed breakdown:
  • Flying:
Seville (approximately 1.5 hours from Suryalila), Jerez (closer, around 1 hour), and Malaga (about 2 hours) are the most convenient airports.
  • Transfers:
Suryalila offers transfers with SierraVivaViajes, and they can help you arrange a ride from any of the mentioned airports. They also try to match arriving guests to share the cost of the transfer.
  • Cost of Transfers:
The cost varies depending on the airport: Seville (€100), Jerez (€80), and Malaga (€160).
  • Alternative Transportation:

You can also take a bus from the airport to the city center (Seville, Jerez, or Malaga) and then a local bus to Villamartín, a town 10km from Suryalila. A transfer from Villamartín to Suryalila would cost an additional €20 per car.

Will I have the opportunity to teach on the training course?

Yes you will. There are daily Teaching Methodology classes. You will start teaching one person one pose. Then graduate to teaching small groups of 3. Then finally you will teach the whole class for your final assessment.

Is it ok to do teacher training just for self-development and to deepen my practice?

Yes it is. Lots of people have done this training as self development. Some have also started it for themselves and ended up teaching… Its completely up to you.

Is this training suitable if I am working through grief, trauma, anxiety and depression?

Yes, you should find the content of the training helpful in navigating difficult emotional issues, That said, each student also needs to be on top of their emotions enough to be able to study the work objectively, for teaching purposes.

How is the course assessed?

You will be tested in the 26 Yin postures at the end of the week. You should know how to set up your poses with props, modifications and understand prop usage and modifications in relation to other students bodies in relation to common postural issues.

How many students are in the group ?

We take up to 30 on a training. Numbers are usually between 10-25 students.

Is this training course registered or is this course qualified me to be a teacher?

This training is registered with Yoga Alliance. Yoga Alliance is the most recognised Yoga registration body world-wide. This certification will qualify you to teach Yoga anywhere in the world. .

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat and props?

A lot of students like to bring their own props, but all props are also supplied in the studio.
