50 hr Yin Yoga Training Spain
june 27th - July 4th 2026
Blending Yin Yoga with somatic Theory for Embodied Teaching and Personal Transformation
Join us for a 50-Hour Yin Yoga Training at the beautiful Suryalila Retreat Centre in southern Spain.
This immersive training centres on a detailed exploration of the 26 Yin Yoga poses, teaching you how to work with functional alignment, intelligent variation, and skilful sequencing to meet the needs of different bodies. You’ll also explore the restorative aspects of Yin, learning how to use support, stillness, and pacing to calm the nervous system and deepen the practice.
Rooted in functional anatomy, fascial theory, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and somatic awareness, the training examines how stress patterns and survival responses shape posture and movement — and how Yin Yoga can gently support release, regulation, and resilience.
Held in Suryalila’s sacred Geodesic Dome Yoga Shala, surrounded by nature and quiet beauty, this training offers both a solid, embodied education in Yin Yoga and a deeply nourishing personal retreat.
- Yin Yoga Poses & Practice: Modifications, props, and adaptive sequencing
- Fascial Anatomy & the Living Body: Fascia, myofascial trains, and the body as a sensory system
- Physiology of Our Tissues: Adaptation, hydration, and the healing potential of passive stretch
- Joint Anatomy from a Yin Perspective: Compression, tension, and skeletal variation
- Supporting the Pregnant Body: Learning modifications for Pregnancy
- Somatic Patterning & Emotional Holding: How fight, flight, freeze, and flop shape posture and breath
- Neuroscience of Stillness: Polyvagal theory, fascia, and the nervous system
- Theming Your Classes: Weaving together the seasons, TCM meridians, mental health, and energetic anatomy
- Energetic Pathways: The Daoist view of Qi, Indian chakra/nadi maps, and Western mind-body models
- The Psychology of Yin: Samkhya philosophy, the Eight Limbs, Buddhism, and Jungian insights
- Teaching Practice: Holding space, trauma-sensitive cues, and the art of intuitive guidance
