Energy Medicine Yoga Training

Vinyasa Krama Yoga Therapy

May 10th-11th 2025

This Energy Medicine training offers an exploration of subtle body energetics in relation to physiological conditions using Slow Flow Vinyasa Krama Therapy. The term “Vinyasa” means a mindful and deliberate placement, while “Krama” refers to a step or sequence. This style of yoga offers a journey into the art of mindful movement, breath, and alignment with a therapeutic focus. Rooted in the traditional teachings of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, this practice is designed to empower you with the knowledge and skills to tailor yoga practices to the individual needs of your students, addressing physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

You will explore Vinyasa Krama in relation to subtle energy, focusing on the vayus (physiological systems), doshas (constitutional types), gunas (mental states) and chakras (psycho-energetic centres).  The approach offers therapeutic sequencing and teaches you how to adapt postures for specific conditions, such as autoimmune conditions, cancer, heart disease and various conditions relating to the various systems of the body.
