Lead Trainer

Carol Murphy is the lead trainer of this training and the founder of Green Lotus Yoga. Carol first came across Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra in her early Iyengar days, before she trained as an Iyengar teacher. Yoga Nidra enabled her to let go of deep-held mental tension that allowed her true self to gradually emerge from within. Carol continued her yoga, pranayama and meditation explorations in India over a number of years. Since then she studied Yin yoga with Sarah Powers and trained in Yin Yoga with Josh Summers. In addition, Carol studied Yoga Therapy with IAYT school Soul of Yoga, where she continued her studies in Subtle anatomy, yoga and mental health and the Vini Yoga therapeutic method of flow yoga.

On this training, Carol weaves together these teachings and is inspired to take you every step of the way to deepen your practice and prepare you to teach.
